Deer reflection

Taken this morning at Bushy park a deer and it's reflection a tree had come down near one of the ponds and a small herd of deer had gathered to snack on the foliage and branches with this one off to the side by the pond edge
Also this morning I had the first sighting of the long lens brigade! a reccie for the October manoeuvres no doubt

I like the contrast between the brownish hue of the deer and that green grass... really serves to make the two deer stand out strongly in the image. I would imagine this is a mother and her doe. The reflection of the doe works well... I probably would have been so tempted if in this position to zoom in to just the doe and its reflection.

You're putting you Fuji gear to good use Richard.
Did you know that those long lenses fall off in Spring and they have to grow new ones in the summer before the rut begins. Smile
