I had taken this image to have the tipis serve as a framing for the apartment block where I live but it also served to contrast the skyline of present day Winnipeg with what would have been the skyline in the times before the Europeans arrived in this area when at the confluence of the Assiniboine River from the west and the Red River from the south there was a meeting place of the Indigenous people who lived throughout this region of what is today Canada and the United States.

Not sure what the event was that was taking place but whatever the event I often find that the tipi (or tipis) become a central focal point of the event.

Like the no smoking sign on the Tipi on the left and like the way they frame your building
Best regards

Certainly not the usual 'Urban View' one would expect! I like the picture and especially as it also includes your home. Can I assume the circular top is a Restaurant?
