I wish I would have taken a picture such as this when I traveled through the area... I didn't. I like the contrast between the darkened shoreline and the lightness of the clouds with the colorful buildings of Mendocino sandwiched between them, the colors of the buildings and the overall painterly feel of the composition. Brings back memories of going through the area. Thank you!

Unique exposure ...almost looks like a pencil rendering - so precisely detailed.

A strong lavender cast on my screen but otherwise an excellent picture.

Lynne,
This has a mysterious feeling to it. It may be that the houses almost look out of place behind the cliffs. Also, the cliffs, greenery and grasses on them seem to have an unusual hue or texture. Beautiful image but it does seem strange to me. I am sure it was a wonderful site to see.
